Since releasing Surgeon Simulator 2 last year, it’s been our goal at Bossa to truly bring surgery to the masses. We’re super excited to announce that Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas will be launching on Xbox and Steam on September 2nd, 2021.
Surgeon Simulator 2: AAA will feature a year’s worth of updates, new gameplay, and some shiny improved character models. Players will be able to get stuck into Surgeon Simulator 2: AAA with up to three friends or scrub-in solo to take on Bob’s sickness alone.
Our Epic Games Store players will also be able to play Surgeon Simulator 2: AAA from September 2nd; all the improvements of the AAA edition will be automatically added to the Epic Games Store edition on launch. What’s more, Surgeon Simulator 2: AAA will have PC crossplay, meaning Epic players can party up with Steam users — are four hands truly better than one?
Behind the surgical curtains, our devs have been hard at work optimising Surgeon Simulator 2: AAA for Xbox Series X|S, meaning players with these consoles can expect 4K graphics and 60 FPS. The game will also be compatible with Xbox Smart Delivery, meaning the best version of the game is automatically delivered to your console regardless of generation.
